About who we are
Laura Maas, the founder of Laura Catherine Design, was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Her passion for design was ignited in a high school photography class and flourished during her undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston, where she minored in art. Laura's creative journey has been shaped by her exposure to various media types, inspiring her to explore different forms of art.
Why we love what we do
After graduating from college, Laura moved to Greenville, South Carolina. When she's not engaged in lettering and design, you can find her in the therapy room. Currently, Laura is finishing up her second year of graduate school, pursuing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is looking forward to graduating in may of 2025.
Laura's love for people and her desire to help others shines through both her therapeutic work and her design projects. Whether she's assisting clients in the therapy room or contributing to someone's special day, Laura's compassionate nature is evident. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and arranging flowers.
